Brain Train: Daily IQ Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Account Information. When you create an account we collect your email address and a display name. If you sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook, we receive a basic profile identifier and email from that provider — we never receive your social-media password. You may optionally provide your country, used for regional leaderboards. Passwords are handled securely by our authentication provider and are never stored by us in plain text.

Gameplay & Progress Data. To provide the core experience we store your in-app activity: quiz answers and results, IQ scores and estimates, experience points (XP), ranks, badges, streaks, training progress, and leaderboard standings. This is what lets you track your improvement over time.

Device & Technical Data. We collect limited technical information such as your device model, operating system version, app version, time zone, and — if you enable notifications — a push notification token. This helps us deliver notifications, stay compatible with your device, and diagnose problems.

Usage & Analytics Data. We use analytics to understand how features are used and how the App performs so we can improve it. Analytics are tied to a pseudonymous identifier and used in aggregate.

Diagnostics & Crash Data. If the App crashes or hits an error, we collect diagnostic information (the error, device state, and app version) to fix bugs and improve stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the App;
• Track your progress, scores, streaks, badges, and rankings;
• Display leaderboards and your standing among other players;
• Send notifications you have opted into (such as your daily challenge reminder);
• Keep your account and our systems secure and prevent abuse;
• Diagnose problems, improve features, and enhance performance;
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as needed to operate the App — for example, with trusted third-party service providers that help us host our infrastructure, authenticate accounts, deliver notifications, process payments, and keep the App secure and reliable. These providers act on our behalf under confidentiality and security obligations and may use your data only to provide their services to us. If you choose to sign in with a third-party provider, we receive only the minimal information needed to create and secure your account.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and our service.

4. Leaderboards & Public Profile

The App includes leaderboards. Your chosen display name, country, and scores may be visible to other users on these leaderboards. Please choose a display name you are comfortable showing publicly. You can change your display name in the App.

5. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously. All communication between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Data is stored on secured, access-controlled infrastructure with row-level security, so each user can only access their own records. Passwords are never stored in plain text. While no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, we use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. When you delete your account, we delete your associated personal data from our active systems, except where we are required to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations.

7. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can:

• Access and update your profile information in the App;
• Delete your account at any time from the Profile screen, which removes your associated data;
• Control push notifications through your device settings.

8. Account Deletion

You can delete your account directly in the App from the Profile screen. Deleting your account permanently removes your gameplay history, IQ history, badges, stats, and progress from our active systems.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 3 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored on servers in countries other than your own, where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this policy wherever it is processed.

11. Push Notifications

If you enable notifications, we use a push token to send you reminders and updates related to the App. You can turn off notifications at any time in your device settings.

12. Third-Party Sign-In

If you sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook, your use of that service is also governed by that provider’s privacy policy. We only receive the minimal information needed to create and secure your account.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
